Seattle, WA – more than 5 million foot passengers used the Seattle Ferry Terminal in 2014. With anticipated ridership continuing to climb, a new terminal facility is of capital importance to the continued growth of the region.
Earlier this month, floating equipment was mobilized near the ferry terminal to conducting geotechnical investigation by installing temporary test piles signaling further progress on this project.
Earlier this fall, Hoffman-Pacific, JV, a joint venture between Hoffman Construction Company and Pacific Pile & Marine, was selected as the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GCCM) for the project to support WSF during final design and construction planning. Construction is planned to begin in mid-2017 and be completed in early 2023.
