Hiring – Senior Project Engineer

Clough Canada a Clough Company, specializes in the provision of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPC) services to the Canadian oil and gas sector.

Deliver the day-to-day requirements as required by the project. The role supports the Project Manager across the different phases of the project. 

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor and report on work progress, including identifying any gaps or issues that require further scope of work.
• Responsible for compliance with all Clough and project specific project control operating standards, processes and procedures.
• Compliance with the Project HSSE Management System
• Compliance with Target Zero principles
• Accountable for review of client documents and specifications for incorporation into the Project Execution Plan
• Development and preparation of work packs / job cards, work procedures and requisitions required for the project.
• Provide project with ongoing engineering support
• Facilitate interfaces across organization functions and/or contractors
• Build contractor relationships across various contract types providing support and direction to ensure efficient project execution
• Provide input into development of project costs and schedules
• Input or lead development of project Daily, weekly and/or Monthly Reporting
• Ability to identify and manage project risk
• Manage project Risk and Opportunity registers.
• Input or facilitate project meetings including Progress, Constructability, HAZID etc. 
• RFI process management

You should possess the following:

• 8+ years’ experience in Project Engineering
• Construction (Site) experience
• Knowledge of Project Management – Cost, Planning Reporting
• Engineering Technical Support – Commissioning
• Good written and oral communication, attention to detail, team player, able to effectively lead by example
