ENR Best Project 2016

The Pier 54 Piling and Apron Replacement project was selected as this year’s Small Project of the Year. Projects in this category are for projects under $10M and reviewed by a panel of judges to be awarded based on overcoming challenges, teamwork, safety, innovations, contribution to the industry/community, quality/craftsmanship, and functionality of design and aesthetic.

Accepting the award on behalf of PPM were the Project Manager, Hal Hurlen (second from left), Project Superintendent, Tim Quinn (far left), and Project Engineer, Stephenie Johnson (center). Accepting on behalf of the Owner, Ivar’s Inc, was Bob Donegan (second from right). Accepting on behalf of the structural engineer, Reid Middleton, was Katy Brawner (far right).

Very proud to have been a part of such a tremendous project carried out by a great partnering of contractors, engineers, and owner, to name a few. Thank you to ENR and the industry for recognizing this project.
